Spellcast slots is a free slots game with a magical wizard theme. Symbols include magic potion, a castle, a magic spell book, magic wand, and witches brew. Crystal balls are scatter symbols. Scatter symbols are a little like wildcards because they help the player, but they cannot substitute any other symbol. Rather, whenever a scatter symbol shows up anywhere on a spin, it multiplies winnings. If three or more crystal balls show up anywhere on a spin, the player wins 15 bonus spins. In Spellcast slots bearded wizards are wildcard symbols which can substitute for any other symbol except a scatter symbol.

Spellcast slots machine is a 5-reel game with 20 bet lines in rows, zigzags, and diagonals. On the sides of the reels are small symbols containing numbers. A number represents one bet line. If you hover your mouse over one of them, a bright line will show up tracing that particular bet line.

For each spin you can bet one to four coins per bet line on up to 20 lines. The minimum is one coin on one line. The maximum is four coins on all 20 lines making a total of 80 coins. If more than one bet line wins only the highest win on an enabled bet line will be credited. However, there are winning combinations of symbols that you can see in the pay table in the bottom left of the screen. Combinations win only in succession from left to right (except scatter symbols). Scatter symbols either multiply winnings or award bonus spins. On bonus spins the wins are tripled automatically.

The BET LEVEL button selects the number of coins to bet on each line. Every time you click the BET LEVEL button one coin is added to the bet. You can view the current bet level in the display window below the game buttons.

The BET LINES button selects the number of lines to bet on. Each time you click BET LINES you add one line to the bet. You'll see the bet line highlighted on the screen. You can select bet lines by clicking the symbols on the sides that show bet lines. Like bet levels the number of bet lines is viewable in the display below the game buttons.

The COIN VALUE button chooses which coin value to use. Each time you click the COIN VALUE button, the coin value is increased to the next available value. This is displayed below the game buttons. In the game panel at the bottom of the game screen you can view the total amount of the bet. If you know you're going to bet the maximum, you can click MAX BET. When you click MAX BET, the spin begins automatically.

To start a game click on the start button. In the row of buttons underneath the word "Spellcast" you'll see the buttons for bet level, bet line, maximum bet, and coin value. In the center of these is a round button with two arrows "chasing" each others. This is the start button. You don't have to push the start button if you've chosen MAX BET. The slots game will start automatically in that case. You can also enable Spellcast slots Autoplay by clicking the AUTO button in the game panel and select how many rounds you want to play automatically.
